SynopsisDaring to dream of an impossible love, a down-on-his-luck bike messenger attempts to win the heart of a beautiful girl by delivering a flower to her every morning. STREET PILLOW OR, THE SIDEWALK SLEEP tells the story of Walt, a dopey but endearing guy with no prospects, who has fallen for Christine, the girl of his dreams. Love begins to blossom... that is, until Pike, a shifty street character and Walt’s supposed friend, intervenes. Pike is convinced Christine is toying with Walt's feelings and he will stop at nothing to prove his point. An unlikely series of confrontations forces Walt to find strength and wisdom in unexpected places, learning a thing or two about love in the process. A parody of the stereotypical art film or romantic comedy, this film couches an exploration of the dark and complex sides of love, hope and friendship in an honest and touching, sweetly hopeful love story with a dark twist ending.
